I'm a recent master’s graduate (Dec. 2017) from UC Davis with experience in aerodynamics, aircraft design and optimization; and a passion for advancing aeronautics.

At Davis, I managed the aeronautical wind tunnel, mentored 6 undergraduate researchers, advised 11 student capstone design teams, and led a 7-person radiosonde field team in the Mojave Desert.

My professional interests reflect my personal hobbies

I am an avid aviation enthusiast. I began flying when I was 14, have a private pilot certificate with ratings for single-engine airplanes and gliders, and am building a kit-built, Van's RV-12 airplane as a family hobby project. Last summer, I obtained a Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate while serving as a grader for an undergraduate course on UAVs.

At UC Davis, I applied my knowledge of aero-hydro dynamics as a club advisor, webmaster, and V.P. of Equipment for the UC Davis Sailing Team.

Every now and then, I enjoy getting away.
